| Have you ever watched the show, "The Twilight Zone"? If so, you probably would have thought this game reminded you of an episode from that famous old TV show. It appeared the ref and the coaches from the other team and the rink manager had it out for our boys. Calling invisible penalties and even kicking Drew out of the game after a player from the other team whacked him on the back of his head with a stick!
Out of shear frustration I saw Jordan do something I have NEVER seen him do... he checked a kid and sent him flying. Jordan received a four minute penalty which was deserved but I can't say as I blame him after the bizarre nature of the referring of this game.
Well even with the bad referring and cheap play of the Phantoms the Frogs still pounded the opposition and won the game basically shorthanded.
It just goes to show you... sometimes you have to beat the opponent, the ref's, the other coaches and even the rink manager!
